SortWizard
End of Day Features

The SortWizard End Of Day version has the features of the Plus Version but, the EoD version does not need a real-time datafeed as it does not perform real-time intraday searches.  The features of the EoD version will provide the traders and with the added capability and flexibility to create unique and complex searches limited only by imagination and creativity.

SortWizard End of Day setup window:

With the End of Day Version features include:

The Add Field capability.  This function enables you to chose from a comprehensive list list of over 200 fields from which to create searches.  Click here to see a complete field list

Formula writing capability. Through the use of the Formulas function, you can create your own unique formulas.  Any of the fields you selected in the Add Field function can be incorporated into your formulas with a simple double click.  The all the that needs to be added is the algebraic symbols and any specific values and the formula is completed.  With that and the Check Formula feature, formulas can be created quickly and errors in formulas can be easily isolated and corrected.

The results of the formulas can be conditionally set to specific criteria in the Primary Criteria tab of the Search Parameters Setup (see image above).  Then when you run a search only those stocks that qualify to your criteria will appear in the search results display.

The creation of formulas uses the same convention and functions as used in Microsoft’s Excel spreadsheet application.  There is no new or special programming language to learn.  If you are familiar with that Excel or other similar spreadsheet applications, you will be ready to use this function immediately.  If you would like to see some of the functions supported you can go to the Reference Center.

Limits criteria.  The idea here is to use Limits to  further refine and reduce the number of symbols returned from a search to speed up your analysis to a trade decision.

Limits are very similar to formulas except there is not a display column associated with them.  If the value set in the Limit meets the criteria, the limit will allow the symbol to be displayed, if it is not met, the Limit will disregard the symbol.  Items are displayed based on a accumulation of these limits, all limits must result in a "True" condition for a symbol to pass through the criteria.  "=TRDPRC_1 > 10" is an example of a simple Limit.  Through the use of Limits, compound and conditional (IF, AND, OR) statements can be easly created.  To test your search results, you can disable limits by simply un-checking the check box next to the limit statement.

Historic Database.  You can Search, Sort and use in any of over 250 fields for the creation of Formulas in any combination and with any criteria.  There are no limitations to the number of fields, formulas or limits you can use.  Many of the fields have offsets to enable more sophisticated calculations to be adjusted to fit certain trading patterns.

Some of the fields included are ADX, Average Volumes, Average Ranges, Moving Averages, Direction Indicators, RSI, Daily History, and much more.  Click here to see a complete field list.

Additional historic data or special fields will be added upon request.  To request additions; email: Add Historic Data with "Add Database Field" in the subject line.
